Ingredients:

  • 1 single brew cup Lancaster County Coffee Roasters Red Rose Espresso
  • 1/2 cup ice (plus extra for serving)
  • 1/4 cup milk of your choice (oat, almond, or dairy milk work well)
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons sweetener (honey, simple syrup, or vanilla syrup)
  • Optional garnish: Cinnamon or cocoa powder

Equipment:

  • Mason jar with a tight-fitting lid or cocktail shaker

 Instructions:

  1. Brew Red Rose Espresso
Brew a single 8-ounce cup of Lancaster County Coffee Roasters Red Rose Espresso. Let it cool slightly for a smoother shake.
  2. Prepare the Shaker
Fill a mason jar or cocktail shaker with 1/2 cup of ice. Pour the brewed espresso over the ice.
  3. Add Milk and Sweetener
Add 1/4 cup of milk to the jar. If you like a sweeter drink, add 1–2 teaspoons of sweetener, such as honey, vanilla syrup, or simple syrup.
  4. Shake It Up
Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds. The ice will chill the espresso and create a frothy, creamy texture.
  5. Serve Over Ice
Fill a tall glass with fresh ice and pour the shaken espresso mixture over it.
  6. Garnish and Enjoy
For a finishing touch, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder on top. Serve with a straw and enjoy your frothy, refreshing Red Rose Shaken Espresso!

Pro Tips:

  • Dairy-Free Option: Oat milk works especially well, as its creamy texture complements the espresso.
  • Chilled Espresso Shortcut: Brew the espresso ahead of time and store it in the fridge for even quicker preparation.

This Red Rose Shaken Espresso is a quick, easy, and versatile recipe that feels like a café treat you can make in minutes. Perfect for starting your day or as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up!
