Costa Rican Tarrazu

This coffee is one of my favorites. It has a bright flavor and is not bitter.

For almost 10 years, I have been indulging my coffee addiction by ordering Tarrazu from a coffee roasting company in Costa Rica that produces both water-processed coffee as well as honey-processed. The water-processed coffee I am accustomed to is a "Medium Roast" which still appears quite light, but is well-rounded in flavor. (Perhaps this is because the coffee is roasted at high altitude?) In comparison, this coffee is definitely lighter roasted, and lacks some of the bass notes. "Floral" is a good description for this coffee and I find it a most enjoyable breakfast coffee. I have found that I like a little of the Medium Roast Columbian mixed in with it. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

This flavor just wasn't my taste in coffee. It was ok but it didn't have the "it" for me. I'm sure others will like it. I would drink it just not buy it for my personal use.

I've tried nearly every Lancaster coffee over the years, and keep going back to Tarrazu. It has great flavor, even adding an extra scoop doesn't make it harsh like others. The biggest benefit ( for me ), is the low acid. I've tried other coffees that claim low acid, but this bean delivers...smooth & low acid. Add it to your subscription, you won't regret it.
