Shoofly Pie

I simply love Shoofly Pie and have served it with friends who have never visited Lancaster and they agree — this coffee (and all of the coffees, really) is one of the best that I have ever tasted. Subtly warm with notes of toasted molasses, it pairs perfectly well with a little cream and good conversation.

Only thing better would be to have with an actual piece of Shoofly Pie.

I grew up eating shoofly pie so when I discovered Lancaster County Coffee Roasters made it a coffe variety, I had to give it a try. It did not disappoint. It has a slight natural sweetness which adds to the flavor profile perfectly. You may even cut down on how much sugar you add. Although I no longer live in Lancaster, I’m thankful to have shipping available so I won’t go without it in my coffee rotation.

I love this coffee. This was my first purchase of lancaster cty coffee from shady maple grocery store and am on the hunt to buy more locally.
